Solace is a 6 panel series, which came out of my observance of the fog in San Francisco.
Liminal yet consuming, the fog swallows and fills space, while watching I can’t help but think of the fog as anything other than a space of nothingness, pure bliss of impermanence.
Solace is woven in shades of white and cream, these tonalities function as my conceptual “washes” of color, a palette conveying “nothingness” and the impermanence around us and in us.
